"Very outdated- new roof - all construction material all over. Clean
Must be new owners - was not like this when we stayed there previously.
It worked but would not stay again."
"The Brittany in Manchester, VT is a self check in hotel. Make sure you read your check in email before you get to the hotel because the signal is sketchy and you need your room number and access code to get into your room. They send that information the day of your arrival so make sure to check your email when you have signal!. There is the cutest snack lounge with a kitchen and seating area. They have extra towels, pak n play, air mattress etc. Nice touch. The room itself was clean, and...
"The check in process was very frustrating. I booked through Expedia and wasn’t able to access my reservations through their online booking portal. A lodge TV at gas rooms dates in the 70s should probably have staff to check in if they can’t keep up with the technology"
"Stanford House was listed on Expedia as 9.0 Wonderful. I disagree. I saw photos that had rooms with white bed covers. I didn't expect something so different on a busy weekend in Manchester. However, even though the room was clean and seemed more recently painted, it was disappointing. I am not a dog owner, and the bed covers with large dog designs were shocking. There was no in- room coffee pot, no cups. There were many wires for TV, microwave ( very mini, less than a college microwave) mini...
"Best part was the recommendation to eat at the great place across the street. Didn't really care for no one being there ( customer service) Spendy for the small room. Great remodel...cute place but tiny for two people. We went to the bar ( 20 min before they opened) Instead of offering to serve us a drink they recommend we go to a bar down the street!? I was kinda puzzled by that"
"Really enjoyed the pool and hot tub (hot tub looked brand new!). Overall, the facility is dated and could benefit from a makeover. Also, there is no air conditioning in the rooms, which is normally not a problem in New Hampshire, but our weather was warm and humid at night."
"Proprietor is a nice fellow, the motel was dog-friendly -- but charged at $15/day fee not listed in Expedia site. Field near motel with long grass and lupins -- great for quick dog walks. Patrons in other rooms screaming angrily at each other in the middle of the night. Room needs hooks at door for coats, needs more/better lighting, needs opening for front window to get cross-ventilation, needs more electrical outlets. Loud traffic most hours."
"I had to call to get the door code as their system failed to send me any texts, calls, or emails. House was fine however at the very minimum they could have cleaned off the ice from the steps. The drive way required 4x4 as it was uphill and straight ice. The walk way from the drive way to the house was all ice and the steps had at least 2 inches of ice on each."
