"Because of language, took time before I entered, the room was excellent for the price and was right in town. There was no kettle, I missed that. It was February and in the 20s degrees. Breakfast was in a cafe 5 minutes away 3.5€. 8 minutes walking from the train station. 4.80€ to Alicante by train. Nice place to stop, very Spanish. "

"Not very little hotel. Short walk from a lovely beach. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Staff are very friendly. Only problem was the shower suddenly went cold and then hot again a couple of times while trying to shower and bath towels barely covered everything! Not much parking around hotel but big free car park a few minutes walk away. "

"I had very little time in this hotel as it was just a bed for the night before an early flight from nearby ALC. It served the purpose well. There is a small front desk at the entry that isn't staffed after 10pm. Fortunately the hotel staff contacted my the day before. I needed to arrange a very early taxi and they took care of this for me. "Lovely hosts, with a nice hostel in a very nice garden with pool. Generous hosts who shared all kinds of fruits from their garden for free. Very good equiped kitchen, well kept and cosy. Top location with walking distance to the beach, the La Zenia boulevard shopping mall and lots of restaurants. Top recomendations from us."

"We stayed in this hotel in may 2018 and a review of that visit would have been extremely good. Our return was not so good because there was a change of restaurant staff with dropped standards The previous staff were always cheerful and had enough English (serving all nationalities) to make eating there very pleasant. "It was a basic studio and was clean. Air con was good. Pool closes for 3 hours 2-5pm. Food in restaurant is very good and reasonable priced but for all the staff they have (5) service is terrible. I had to go bar and order in end as got sick of waiting even though it wasn’t busy. When we received meal i had to get up and ask for cutlery. No entertainment on night we stayed"

" This has been our 3rd stay at the hotel Lido. Personally my partner and myself Love it there for its convenience to the beach, restaurants and shops ect.. However it should be stressed to new visitors that the Lido like most hotels in the area is a 2 star hotel so don't expect 4 star decor also people new to the area should appreciate this is a working coastal town so don't expect the canary island experience. In saying this for those looking for a Spanish experience and a Lovely beach holiday...

"No wifi in rooms and only in reception.. bar and restaurant closed most evenings .. pool closed .. Access to wifi was a real problem for me and needing to sit in reception to do my work was very inconvenient. Furniture in rooms very uncomfortable.. Located in a good area but this time of the year most places are closed "

"The cabin itself was nice, spacious and clean and for the most part well equipped. Didn’t see the restaurant or shop open at any point. Reception not manned and always had to phone if needed assistance. Limited welcome/explanation of site or how things work on arrival. Pool area a bit run down and sun loungers all cracked/broken but overall was ok for what we needed."
