"Because of language, took time before I entered, the room was excellent for the price and was right in town. There was no kettle, I missed that. It was February and in the 20s degrees. Breakfast was in a cafe 5 minutes away 3.5€. 8 minutes walking from the train station. 4.80€ to Alicante by train. Nice place to stop, very Spanish. "

"Very polite well mannered staff. Our check in was smooth. Our room was spacious and cleaned spotless daily. Breakfast was a lovely continental with fresh juice and we were served hot coffee/ tea as required. Good value for money and would definitely recommend."

"Great place to stay for the cost - we unintentionally arrived on the weekend of the arneva festival in July so things were noisy but this was acceptable for the festival. Situated close to Oriheula for good food, friendly and accomodating staff, rooms were nice. "

" This has been our 3rd stay at the hotel Lido. Personally my partner and myself Love it there for its convenience to the beach, restaurants and shops ect.. However it should be stressed to new visitors that the Lido like most hotels in the area is a 2 star hotel so don't expect 4 star decor also people new to the area should appreciate this is a working coastal town so don't expect the canary island experience. In saying this for those looking for a Spanish experience and a Lovely beach holiday...

"It was a basic studio and was clean. Air con was good. Pool closes for 3 hours 2-5pm. Food in restaurant is very good and reasonable priced but for all the staff they have (5) service is terrible. I had to go bar and order in end as got sick of waiting even though it wasn’t busy. When we received meal i had to get up and ask for cutlery. No entertainment on night we stayed"

"No wifi in rooms and only in reception.. bar and restaurant closed most evenings .. pool closed .. Access to wifi was a real problem for me and needing to sit in reception to do my work was very inconvenient. Furniture in rooms very uncomfortable.. "The cabin itself was nice, spacious and clean and for the most part well equipped. Didn’t see the restaurant or shop open at any point. Reception not manned and always had to phone if needed assistance. Limited welcome/explanation of site or how things work on arrival. "This is a resort complex and made up of bungalow type units and camping pitches for caravans and motor homes. It is well laid out and pretty and the facilities include a modern gym, indoor pool and spa and a nice outdoor pool area. The bungalow we stayed in was compact but well equipped with a decent shower and a comfy bed.
