"The hotel is simple, very clean and comfortable. The room was small but perfect for my one night stay. It's situated on the main road through town but was peaceful. I chose to have breakfast which was fresh, with a baguette, croissant, ham, cheese, yoghurt and coffee. The owner and team are friendly and helpful. We were on our way to our wedding and despite the fact that we told them so, they never congratulated (we were even wearing wedding t-shirts) and gave us a room facing a massive pipe. Terrible. We wished we chosen a different place that would have made more effort to make our wedding trip more special."

"This was the first stop after 600 miles driving only to find the hotel locked up. I had seen that the Restaurant was closed on Monday and Tuesday (from their own website, but not Hotels.com) one of the reasons for choosing this hotel, but did not expect the Hotel to be closed. "It was a cheap place to sleep, and that’s about it. It is hard to describe just how tiny this room is. My college dorm was twice the size. The bathroom shower was difficult to close and let water go everywhere and we only had two towels for three people. The breakfast was ok, not great. Two of the three rooms we booked were clean but the third had been smoked in very recently and smelled bad. "

"Beautiful serene location. Very quiet room with garden outlook, non too spacious but OK. Bed firm . Bath only in room with hand held shower & no shower screen. Welcome far from welcoming, so quick & abrupt. No elevator. Wifi good. Large car park. Dinner in restaurant was a good meal. Please ask cleaning staff to do something about their body odour, most unpleasant!"

We were expecting a restaurant but was told on arrival that it is closed in the winter, breakfast only. However the owner took pity on us and provided a three course meal in our room which was very good. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Owner was very nice but we will not be using this hotel again."
