Hotel customer service was out-sourced and I had to talk to someone out of Japan that did not know anything about the hotel or roads in the area. "We had a wonderful Christmas Vacation!!! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed. They were extremely accommodating and even allowed us to check in early after unexpected circumstances. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Great food, very delicious!!! Would definetely recommend this hostel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. "

"Nice position but still a decent walk ( in ski boots ) to the slopes. I would call the accommodation above basic but definitely not luxury. Very clean and manager very helpful. Breakfast was spartan compared to other ski accommodations I've been at but after getting used to this we realised it was adequate."
