Our stay at Papaevangelou Hotel was truly unforgettable.
The host was incredible warm, exceptionally helpful, and wonderful with our kids after a long drive.
The rooms were simply "wow" spacious, cozy, beautifully designed, and honestly much nicer than the photos online show.
The outdoor sitting area has jaw dropping mountain views, and the location in Megalo Papingo is perfect, with everything within short walking...
"Very dated hotel. You have 3 electric outlets in the room-one in the bathroom one for the TV and one for the refrigerator, so it is impossible to charge your phone, etc without unplugging TV or fridge…Your electronics will also not be near the bed while charging…The room was clean, bed comfortable, and view out the back lovely. Breakfast was ok, but below average (opted for local coffee shop day two). There is apparently no staff on site at night. There was very loud partying still going on at...
"GREAT property!! Parking right next door from main entrance. Owners were just wonderful. Breakfast was excellent. Very clean and tidy room. Nice big room. Quality comfortable bed linens. Refrigerator was a plus. The property is in an unbelievably beautiful setting. I wish I could have stayed longer. Just an amazing property/hotel in the historic village."

They helped us above and beyond in everything related to trips in the area and did everything to make us feel comfortable. The food cooked by the owner of the place was the best we ate during our entire trip in Greece. Highly recommended!"
