"Hotel a 3 km de la ville, assez éloigné sans service a proximité. Safari trés cher. J'avais résérvé une chambre mais a mon arrivée il n'y en avait pas alors on m'a proposé le dortoir au meme tarif se que j'ai refusé et aprés discussion j'ai obtenu une tente-chambre. Trés bien dans la grosse savane mais prés de la grande route pas nécessaire du tout. Personnel serviable mais on sans que l'argent et le but premier du centre. "

"This is a tiny gem, don't expect any luxuries but it is well worth a stay if you are in the Yala area for a safari. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and accomodate your every need. Special thanks to Pravin, he is just seventeen at the time I'm writing this, speaks just a little english but was smart enough to whip out the translate app on his phone and we had fun communcating back and forth on that!"

"We used the hotels as a base for a safari tour and it was an ideal base. The location is great, being a short walk (1500m) out of Tissa. Lake Wind Resort is a beautiful heritage building that has had life injected again by new management. The team could not have been more helpful and attentive. "First of all, when I went to 'Palugaha pilgrim resort' it was locked. Even the mobile was not reachable. I had booked this thro' Expedia. Fortunately the auto rickshaw driver was knowledgeable about the place so took us to a nearby place. This did not have any name but there was someone to entertain us. He claimed that was the Palugaha resort & also said there was no intimation from Expedia reg my booking. However, he was kind enough to arrange the room for us. After that, everything was fine....
