"This was one of THE best experiences I have ever had in all of my travels, including the two weeks in Japan. "Older style hotel, has seen better days. It’s not in the most convenient area to travel to Osaka’s attractions. However there is a tram stop outside. The neighbourhood was quiet, not a bustling area. Quite expensive for its location & facilities which in my room were cramped. Staff tried their best. The Blanc Cafe up the street was nice."

"Wonderful experience. Morning prayer fire ceremony with the tour of the temple was unforgettable. The temple has a piece of Buddha ashes. Shojin Ryori (Buddhist meal) was delicious and amazing. I would definitely be back for solo trip in the future. "
