"Really clean hostel in a great central location, with friendly and helpful staff. It was also very reasonably priced for Dublin. The communal areas and bar had a lively atmosphere in the evenings without feeling over the top. A really good option for a city break if you want somewhere affordable and well located."
"rooms clean but ongoing building works make the communal areas a bit dusty. If you need a lift book a room at the front of the hotel. Very central for all the tourist sites"
"Pesino servicio nunca volvería las habitaciones sucias si no les dicianos no limpiaban y su bar teníamos que pasar por ahí y muchos borrachos. No lo recomiendo"
"We stayed in Dublin for three days at the Camden Street Hotel. The first problem we experienced is that the name of the Hotel is confusing and we first went into the huge, brightly lit signed Camden Street Bar, thinking it was the hotel. The bouncer indicated that the hotel was next door, which was embarrassing. Second, there is no street parking at all for the hotel and my Uncle and Aunt were forced to park 300 metres from the hotel, with us dragging our heavy suitcases. A good point is the...
"High 5 euro surcharge for towels. Keycards rarely worked. We were also not informed that the hotel was undergoing renovation and hallways were filled with painting tarps, painters, and the paint smell. Using the elevator was a hassle and required going up and down multiple stairs and through the entire floorplan."
"Decent budget stay—you get what you pay for 👍
The highlight of this hostel is the staff; the check-in agent was incredibly friendly, approachable, and accommodating.
* Location: Not right in the heart of the center, but very accessible. It’s just a short walk to a bus stop that connects you directly to Temple Bar, etc.. Plus, a cheap airport bus stops only a few steps away.
* Room: I booked a 2-bed dorm. The bed was okay and served its purpose, but wasn't the most comfortable. The room can get...
"The staff was great, friendly and very helpful. This was bit too pricey for the bare basic amenities of a backpacking hostel. Over 100 EU a night for a bed in a 12 room dorm on the weekends. They really capitalize on the extras like a $9 EU for a very mediocre breakfast and $6 for a towel rental. There is a supermarket across the street with an awesome $3 build your own breakfast sandwich with all the traditional Irish breakfast fixings that i would highly recommend if you are a budget traveler...
"Good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Amenities were updated but the room floor plan was so small it was hard to move about and enjoy them. We were given the smallest floor plan on our floor despite hotel not appearing to be full. Would still stay again but would want a larger floor plan."
"Great location, nice and clean rooms. Couple of down sides, staff hand you the keys, don’t inform you about wi-fi or how to check out.
Electric went off in the room, not able to contact anyone as no details were left."
