"We did not have a good experience for the high price we paid. The communication with the manager was not great and there was no person at the guest house to check in with. The room was tiny..absolutely no place to put 3 large suitcases except on the floor. The room had a chemical smell that did make our friend ill. We had to leave early as she thought it was pneumonia but it was from the chemical smell..she is handicapped. We had to climb in the window to get back in after getting take away for...

"We so enjoyed our stay at Blarcreen House. David and Deirdre were very welcoming and very helpful. They directed us to a great parking place in Oban for when we went on a three island tour. They encouraged us to explore the area right around the house. We even made friends with the cats and the cows. And their breakfast service was so very elegant and tasty."

"Newly renovated and spacious, however this apartment fell far short of its advertised 'luxury'. The unit sits directly beside the noisy A85 trunk road road, there is double glazing but soundproofing is still very poor, as there is constant traffic noise and you can quite clearly hear outside conversations with all windows firmly shut. "The Wee Bank House is perfect in every way. So much attention to detail with everything we needed for our short stay in Oban. Lots of extra little touches including a wee dram on arrival, coffee pods and lovely local toiletries. Exceptionally clean and a friendly host. Highly recommend.

Close to the town centre , which meant i could enjoy a drink which is very rare for me .
My partner complained the bed was too hard , i found it to be fine ( she just likes to complain )
