"The location was the saving feature of our stay. The apartment is located in the old town in a quiet area.
The apartment appears nice enough but our bed wasn’t made when we finally checked in. We had ask to check in early (1pm) but left waiting until 3pm outside until a message with the door code was received.
Other issues or questions ignored by the WhatsApp contact- no human on site. (E.g no light bulb in the room/ do we get more loo roll on a 6 night stay?!).

"We enjoyed a lovely three-night stay at Hotel Squero. It was within walking distance to the old town of Rovinj in one direction and a few great swimming spots in the other direction. The staff were very friendly and welcoming (It is a family-run business), and a varied and generous breakfast was another positive aspect to the hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a balcony overlooking a quiet garden. While parking may not be right next to the hotel, one of the owners was always ready...
"The apartment is really cute and traditional with gorgeous views in an ideal location. It is 70 steps up to the room with no elevator though so not for anyone who has difficulty with stairs. We found the bed ok but a bit uncomfortable in spots as it is a thinner mattress on a spring base. The shower is tight for a larger person but the water is hot as long as you don’t turn the hot water heater switch off. The parking is free but is quite a walk from the apartment. Sieht von Außen aus wie ne heruntergekommene Absteige.
Bei der Ankunft wahr unsere Buchung nicht hinterlegt, und wir mussten uns eine neue Unterkunft suchen. Hilfe für Ersatz Unterkunft wurde nicht angeboten."
"Petit village dans la montagne, très joli cadre et ferme bien entretenue. Appartement très propre, serviettes de toilettes inclues. Il est à noter qu’il y a un poulailler dans la ferme, sous la fenêtre de l’un des appartement, et que l’odeur des poules rend l’aération difficile ; aussi le coq se lève aux aurores. Le personnel est serviable et disponible."
"Un appartement parfait, idéalement placé ! Il est bien équipé, climatisation dans toutes les pièces, toit terrasse sympa, parfait pour une famille. Il est parfaitement placé. On peut se baigner à 10m de l'immeuble. Je le conseille vraiment."
"Hotel was lovely. Many reviews read before we're negative but the room was modern, clean and relaxing. The hotel itself doesnt have a reception but the facilities are available at the neighbouring hotel including the pools. Breakfast was delicious. On negative is charging hotel guests for sunbeds around the pool. This was not good."
