"Beautiful location but be prepared for a manageable hike uphill.Breakfasts were delicious- including 7nlim8ted free coffee and juice. Very nice. Loved this place and would highly recommend. Drop your bags off at the Plum, and for a fee they will deliver it and return to the Plum when you leave. The Plum is right across from the ferry terminal. Quite a few steps up to the room and we did not see an elevator. There is a back way in, however, that should be good. A lovely visit and wonderful stay....

"チェックインの時間より早く着いたので、部屋へはまだ入れないけど先にチェックインだけしておきましょうと言われたので先にしたけど結局後から来た人がチェックインしてそのまま先に部屋に案内されていたのが少しだけモヤっとした 部屋は良かったが、トイレのペーパーホルダーに埃がたまったままなのと浴槽カーテンにカビがあったのが気持ち悪かった"

"The location to the ferry can't be beat. The staff was excellent, especially Minh, and what can one say about the fabulous Max. The rooms were comfy in our traditional tatami suite. Excellent breakfast as well..Hands down, the best bagels in Japan. Arigato Max and staff!"

"The location of the hostel is top-notch, right beside the canal. It’s also above a great bar run by the hostel as well. That said, the bed was extremely hard, to the point of feeling like a wooden sheet. Some of the slats were broken too. The 4pm check in and 10am checkout was a little inconvenient, but they did allow us to store our bags at the front. If you can get over the uncomfortable sleep, it’s a good spot for a night or two"
