"This is NOT in Munnar town centre. The map is WRONG. It is actually 12km (35 mins) south of Munnar. Place is peaceful. It is 20 minutes walk from the nearest place to eat. It was freezing cold at night... as in wearing 5 layers of clothing cold. The smallest cabin would be v tight for 2 people. The walk up to the cabin from the carpark is crazy steep. Might be challenging for people with mobility issues"

"Excellent place in the natural environment. People are very friendly and professional here."

"Sehr freundliches Personal. Schönes Haus und Zimmer inmitten von Pflanzen. Sehr abgelegen, die Kartenmarkierung war falsch. Die Dusche hat nicht ganz funktioniert. "

"The staff was very very helpful, They actually helped us to navigate from city places and guide us. They help us get bike and can at very end moment. This is very good place to stay, We would definitely recommend for families couples. Special Thanks to Eldhose and Anand for their explicit service."

"Our 4 nights at Amritara were the best experience so far in India. The hospitality and friendliness is outstanding. The tents are beautiful, decorated with heavy teak furniture, comfortable bed and great balcony chairs, we had huge windows to view the river and the lush landscape....
