"Loved our stay at Poseidon, the hotel deserves more than its 2 stars! Perfect position in Kamari, right on the front overlooking the main street but with little to no noise. We had a semi-basement room with a lovely shared patio, room was simply furnished but had everything we needed. Staff are lovely, the restaurant was great and there were free sunbeds & umbrellas on the beach. Good value for money. Couldn’t be happier with our choice! "

"The only complaints would be that the WiFi was spotty throughout our stay and the shower had no curtain so the bathroom floor could get a little wet. Otherwise, the location, customer service and amenities were all great!"

"Can hear the toilets flush in the other rooms that's about the only downside of the room, the walk to the beach is about 3 mins down the road, busses are on a timetable but your just as well guessing your own but that's not the hotels fault, all in all it's a great hotel in a great location for the price you pay. "Absolutely brilliant, cannot reccomed highly enough! The area was amazing, it was the perfect place to be. The beach is lovely, quite busy during the day but that's to be expected. Loads of restaurants and shops around, including supermarkets, and the staff were absolutely excellent."

"We stayed for a couple nights. The hotel is well located and the bus station is pretty near. The pool looks different from the images (advertising with night photos?). My biggest concern goes to the bedding. They really need to change the covers wall the stuff. "

"Sunrise hotel is located in the town of thira. It's conveniently located to the Ktel bus station, shops and restaurants. We were pleased with all members of staff here, especially to Alexandros who was able to help each time we needed assistance. This is a family run hotel and everything here is organised. It has a very nice swimming pool and decor is very new. This would be a choice for me to stay on my next visit. Thank you Alexandros, Socrates and the owners. We hope to see you soon. "

"This superb family run hotel in a prime position is ideal for a stay in Kamari. Mr Akis and his team are lovely people. 100 yards from the beach, great restaurants to choose from on that small strip. Rooms spotless, great shower, comfy beds and aircon. Hotel can organise a cab to and from airport. No pool but there is the pool bar is opposite. Cant go wrong. Excellent stay. Thanks you Mr Akis made our week "

"The man who checked us in, couldn’t of been any less helpful if he had tried, he was rude and was only interested in trying to sell us tours. Our room had 2 huge beds in, so no room to walk around ! Only one large dinner plate and very little cutlery. The 2 ring hob was extended using tape, health and safety non existent, sockets hanging off the wall. The beds and towels were changed every day which was in-necessary, however the lady doing the rooms was very cheerful. The pool was nice, if you...

"it was a great stay! we got to the hotel very early and traveled for 9 hours non stop before arriving and they were able to get us checked into a room before 3pm which was so helpful and thoughtful. it's about a 15 min walk from the city center in Fira and goes by pretty fast. it was a great stay with very clean rooms and nice balcony views."
