"Great location but also up a giant hill from the T station. Our room was super quiet and being able to open the windows helped keep it fresh and a good temperature. There was always someone at the front desk which was greatly appreciated and the rooms are cleaned upon request which is great for privacy when you're out and about. Sadly, our mini fridge was super dirty and barely worked but we wiped it down and it kept some drinks a little cold overnight. The beds were very worn in but clean and...
"Delightful stays. First I stayed several nights in a hotel cell room, small but adequate and comfortable. Wonderful breakfast buffet and delicious evening dining outside. Slept great once I took comforter out of duvet covering so did not overheat. Easy walk to bus stop and to train/subway station. Perfect location for getting on the water (via the canal) to standup paddle board (I travel with my own compact inflatable) around the islands and lake but also kayak rental close by. Couple...
"Place wasn't the cleanest but it was okay, beds were good and sheets were clean, all in all it was great for our group since we were just looking for a place to sleep for the night."
"Descent budget stay. Staff over at Gripsholm Inn who runs this B&B are very helpful and service minded, but the b&b itself is non-staffed and to be fair, not very modern. Provided pllows were tiny and did not make for a comfortable night."
"We really liked the room and the bathroom and products. Suggest to highlight more on booking that dinner is not available
Signs for the Reception / check-in are hardly visible on arrival - you need at big sign at the P and/or at the shop. "
"In general:
Check in info missing, no info at site, cumbersome and then rude services on call. Check out OK.
Room construction nice, however worn out and dirty. Smell was terrible.
Only 1 (of 3) windows could be opened (broken amenities). No aircon is ok, but not fan at all - just a noisy heater on window wall. Terribly hot room. No airing of halls until day prior to departure. Would recommend to close the "hotel" during summer.
The only cleaning service was day at departure, at 06:30 (!)...
