"Gorgeous hotel with clean and spacious rooms with good mattresses. We loved the private onsen option as well as the afternoon drinks and snacks. Highly recommend!"
"No elevator, carrying luggages to 3rd floor with no staff to help was hard. Location is excellent 2 min from Gora station and cable car to major attraction in Hakone is a plus. Any food or bus stops are 12-14 min walk but the only way is through a very hard long stairs."

"Free hot and cold beverages (including alcohol options, which we didn't use). Appreciated specialty coffees and teas. Kimonas and slippers in rooms. Other free amenities available.
Private onsens, which we used. There were also gender segregated larger onsens.

Major train station nearby. But difficult to obtain taxi if prior to 8 am or later at night."

If you’re looking for a family run experience vs. a corporate hotel, I highly suggest staying. Also, their massage chair is...
