"Unfortunately when we arrived at 3.05pm (check-in was from 3pm) the cleaner was in the house. She said her colleague had gone to get clean linen and she was still cleaning. "We had a really enjoyable stay, the property was well equipped and comfortable however disappointed at the cleanliness of the property. It appeared that the bare minimum was done in order to clean the property. There were areas that were extremely unclean. I paid a visit to the amazing Isle of May on Saturday. For anyone who likes seabirds, it is a must. The weather was fantastic and the birds were unbelievable...noisy, smelly and absolutely everywhere. I'm not a birder by any means, but the puffins were great and I gave my jack-of-all trades 28-300 VR a good work-out.

"The room was great, very large. Bathroom was also very spacious. It was perfect for our 1 night stay with St Andrew’s just a few minutes down the road. The room was clean and incredibly comfortable, only complaint is the beds were in front of the windows so we couldn’t open them. "
