"We booked a private room for 1 night, weeks in advance. We arrived at 1700 to an empty front desk and other travelers also waiting to check-in. We were told that rooms needed to be cleaned and we could wait. This wasn’t a big deal as we sat in the dining area. "Great place, only like 300 m from the Quilotoa Lake (Expedia staff please correct your highly inaccurate info). Good food, great staff. However, you have to speak Spanish as I believe no one speaks English here. Hey it is Ecuador so get used to it. Can't wait to get back. "
