"What a wonderful place to stay. Friendly staff, management, and owners. I got delayed on my way into Imterlaken and the manager stayed a bit after closing to make sure I got in. Top notch hospitality! This hotel is a perfect home base for exploring the Jungfrau region. Affordable and comfortable. highly recommend getting breakfast as part of your stay. I will be staying here again next time I am in Interlaken. Cheers!"

"Lovely preserved hotel that brings you back in time right in the middle of Lauterbrunnen. Part of the front of the hotel was used in the James Bond movie “Her Majesty’s Secret Service” back in the 1960’s. The scenery from the hotel terrace and front patio is spectacular! However, I strongly suggest booking a larger room and not the single room for 1. It was tiny and I struggled with fitting an open suitcase on the floor. The bathroom was even tinier and if you are over 6’ - you will be hunched...

"Property was a little far from public transportation, about 12 minutes walk from the closest bus station and the road had no sidewalk, making it a little hazardous. Wooden floors were squeaky but the hotel staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. 5 stars to the staff."

"Overall a nice place to stay. The ceilings are very low and rooms are quite basic. The beds were not particularly comfortable. But the restaurant was great and it was a fun place to get a drink. The town itself is very quite and there is nothing really to do except hang out at the restaurant/bar. "

It’s like the films. The manager is lovely and so helpful, so are all other staff members. Although my check-in was delayed until 4:00 pm but That’s nothing. I would come again. "An issue with the fire alarms going off when people cooked, but had recently updated system installed, so working out the glitches? And washer/dryers took long time-but owner was helpful and tried to go above and beyond with both issues. "

"Hostel was in a great location in the city centre (however that meant slightly further away from the train station ~15 min walk which was a slight struggle with a heavy luggage). Service staff were helpful and friendly. Room had amazing view of the mountains. Decent breakfast spread. The room had a slightly musty smell. Lack of PowerPoints in room for charging"

"Description had twin bed, in practice it was a single bed. Men's shared bathroom lock was broken. No soap in shared shower. You can hear every single thing the people in rooms next to you are doing. Breakfast was OK. Parking is convenient."

"The Adventure Hostel is a short walk from the Interlaken West station, had super friendly staff, a decent breakfast, and very solid accommodations. By far one of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed in, with quality easily comparable to (and in some ways surpassing) 3-star hotels. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, and I definitely recommend the Fondue Villa for great views and fondue!"

"Very friendly staff, great breakfast, coffee and food options for lunch. Also a convenient location to Interlaken West. Room itself was very cozy and clean. Having a few more furniture might have made it even better. Entrance was little tricky with steep steps so could be difficult for older people. "
