"The pictures do not match the condition of this property. Extremely outdated, the refrigerator in the room was plugged in, but not cold and smelled. The carpet was dirty, the window in our room had a broken screen and the curtains were falling apart. The cleaner that they use left an overbearing smell, that made me leave almost as soon as we checked in. The air conditioning unit was very loud. Location was good for what we were there for, would not stay here again. Friendly man at...
"This place is a dump. Been there 3 times in 6 months to fish Mille lacs. All 3 times different staff, pool was always closed all 3 time. 10/2-10/4 stay new mngr told me owners don’t publish pool closed because no one will book.. breakfast sucks, access cards stop working, toilet doesn’t work absolute hellhole"
"Walking into the motel there was a chemical smell.
Not sure what it was cleaning or disinfecting. Got a room key andwent to the room. Small room no clock and notice the toilet in the bathroom. It was off center kind of turned towards the wall a little. Should have been our first clue. But we needed to get to a wedding. So we left on returning
And taking off our shoes, the carpet was damp. I walked into the bathroom and the toilet was leaking out of the bottom, which the bathroom floor was wet....
"Have been staying there over several years and have seen a decline in quality and decline in staffing. Room was clean but unfortunately smelled like mold. Suspect it came from AC/Heater wall unit. Also noticed a decline in breakfast options and quality. Will consider staying eleswhere next time."
"With Breakfast everything was out of order and tables were all dirty. Hotel staff was sitting behind front counter talking guest had to go ask for things including the omelettes that were kept in the freezer. When booking a room for 6 guestst they only include 4 wristbands the others you need to purchase. Staff in the waterpark was inconsistent one day my grandson was ok you use the big water slide being a 1/2 to short. The next day it was a no. He can't go down them."
"I really wanted to like the room and property as I love the area. But as my friend dropped me off (and thank goodness he didn’t leave right away!) I walked into what I thought was the office. However, there was a sign posted saying the check-in office is at the Pelican Bldg. I’m from out of town so I called the number, spoke to the clerk, explained my situation, and asked how to get to the check-in office. She said, “Well, I don’t know where you are so unsure how to direct you.” Really?!? How...
"The room wasn’t very clean, the sheets, the covers, the carpet; the bathroom was definitely terrible. There are just two lights that don’t really light the room. The room smelled like pee."
