"Bedbugs in Room 212 — unacceptable
During our stay at the King’s Arms Hotel, we personally found bedbugs in Room 212 and immediately brought them to the attention of a member of staff.
This is a serious hygiene and accommodation issue. As we were travelling, the incident also meant taking additional precautions with our luggage and clothing to prevent potentially bringing bedbugs home.
Guests should be able to expect a clean, safe, and properly maintained room. Finding bedbugs in our room fell...
"I really enjoyed the breakfast and the host was extremely helpful and went above and beyond. That means something to me and I know it when I see it since I worked in customer service for over 20 years."
"Getting the key was difficult because we didn't get the email on time. However, after a short phone call, the staff solved it very quickly.
Staff was very friendly.
When arriving late there is no place to eat nearby so keep that in mind."
"A fantastic stay at Kintail Lodge! We stayed in the beautiful room number 1, with a lovely view. Everything was spotlessly clean, fresh, and very comfortable.
Helen is a wonderful host, friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Breakfast was excellent, and we had dinners always in their restuarant, which was very good too.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back!"
"Lovely cosy cottage called “The Wee Cottage”. It was not so “wee” and was exactly as described with a direct view on the harbour. Perfect spot to do our Skye tour and then conveniently leave east the next morning!"
"We spent 5 weeks in the UK and Europe and this was by far the nicest accommodation on the whole trip, our only regret was not staying longer.
Excellent property, amazing hosts, the view was to die for and the amenities and breakfast were top class.
There is a great little pub next door, so make sure you book as it does get busy.
The accommodation location is a little of the beaten track, so stay two nights minimum and then just prepare to be wowed."
"Easy to find, really quiet, peaceful location, isolated, so own transport is definitely required.Only member of staff that I spoke to was really helpful and friendly. Lodge was really clean and tidy.would definitely recommend it.also had a great view of Ben Nevis."
