"Amazing location. One of the cleanest places I’ve stayed. No shoes allowed - tatami mats - slippers provided for bathrooms and lounge area. Very convenient location. Right by Omicho market, a large mall w food market underground, walking distance to all the main attractions and Lawson 7-11 right around the corner. Great place to stay. Very comfortable. Note the locker size is small. I was able to fit a 45L backpack and day bag no problem but it won’t work if you have a suitcase."

"Absolutely brilliant. I would definitely book this accommodation again if I returned to Kanazawa! It was always spotlessly clean. The onsen was a lovely way to end the day! There is no bag storage room- rather, they provide a lock for you to secure your bag in the reception area, which I think is great as I was the only one with access to the key to unlock my bag. They change your bedding if you stay longer than three nights. Free towels, slippers, pyjamas, hair dryer / straighteners etc. There...

They then showed me around and proceeded to assist with carrying luggage up the stairs to my room, above and beyond customer service - as with everywhere in Japan. "Good hotel well situated, just a few steps away from the Peace museum. The touristic bus stop is in front of the museum what is quite handy if you plan to visit the city's main attractions. On top of that, the region is quite beautiful, full of restaurants and bars around. It is definitely a good pick for anyone visiting Hiroshima who don't want to expend hundreds with accommodation."

"A fabulous, quaint, traditional property in a superb location. The free hot bathing room privately available, was very enjoyable too. The proprietor was very attentive and helpful and you can tell he's rightly very proud to be Japanese. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would say is we found the mattresses uncomfortable. That may be just our bodies, but we struggled. "

"The owners of the ryokan were very accommodating, kind & helpful. The room is big & adequate. Excellent breakfast. The only minus is that there is limited transpo to the inn. And there are no stores or restaurants near the inn. So you need to eat dinner in another village or bring food home."
