"Staff were helpful and great to talk to, and parking was convenient. Actual hotel is a bit of a walk from town centre, so bear that in mind (there is a bus stop within a 5min walk). On the other hand the area was nice and quiet (although I did stay outside of the academic year). Also this hotel has communal kitchens on each floor where you can cook and store leftovers, but there is no restaurant, although the Halifax Hall nearby does if you need a meal."

"The hotel is within walking distance to the Co-op Live arena (approx. 15-20 mins walk) and the hotel itself is what you'd expect for a budget option, so long as you don't walk in expecting The Ritz then this hotel is a fantastic option. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room I had (420) was small but perfect for a cheap one night stay for a solo traveler or couple. The bed was really comfortable, great aircon and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the shower was....

"Well placed in centre of Bakewell. Friendly staff. Nice large double bedroom with en suite. As they don't serve breakfast there were a couple of complimentary porridge pots and breakfast biscuits. Tea and coffee making facilities with plenty of t-bags, milk, coffee and hot chocolate sachets with packets of biscuits. Hallway outside room decoration was looking a bit tired. Had a very nice evening meal in the pub"

"Great location and well laid out living space. The bed was very comfortable. A small cupboard for dry foods would have been good to have and a shelf on the wall at the side of the basin. "First impressions on driving up were worrying, as the exterior is poor, with the front littered with cigarette butts, and no parking (a sign on the wall would be helpful as it look as though you can park there). The room though was a good size & very clean with a good shower, plenty of channels on the TV including streaming. had a good nights sleep which is the main thing though so that's okay "
