"Everything from the hotel was great, would definitely come back"

"Came for a weekend trip, chose location because of proximity to main part of Kona where I was able to walk everywhere nearby. Studio unit was perfect for solo trip, saved a lot of money for what I needed although property was being worked on and access through the complex was a bit limited and parking was limited if you arrived late on the plane. First night parked on the street across but no problem either"

"This was definitely one of our favourite and most unique stays, it's not high end, it's not fancy, but you're right there on the water, and that was amazing. Little rustic but absolutely worthy, if your partner is uptight, this isn't your spot!"

"Kurt and Kana-thank you for everything! We were in Crows Nest room for 7 nights - the room is very comfortable with everything you needed.Amazing ocean view!Delicious and healthy breakfast with fruits direct from the garden-great job Kana!We had the best coffee ever! We highly recommend!!!"

"Expedia never supplied access to the property, even after multiple calls. Property manager was no where to be found. Expedia call center didn't help or find me and my guest another place to stay, even though they said the would. I found another place to stay on my own for double what I paid Expedia. Sadly, Expedia never offered to pay for it nor have they refunded my money for the original reservation they didn't fulfill. "

"Unit we were in had some maintenance issues. Shower water was just warm. Towel rack not securely fastened. Microwave would sometimes lose power and be unusable. Rest of the facility was nice."

"It is really very close to the beach, you can even walk it.i also love the place itself. very quiet. The only thing really is the air con is very loud that you can’t sleep! That is the tie breaker. Either you sleep in comfort with the loud sound of the air conditioner blasting loud into your ear or hot but quiet during the night. I always end up turning off the air and just taking off my clothes under the covers Lol. Also the small window by the back porch doesn’t have a curtain so the neighbor...

"The check in process was easy and transparent. Our room was small but comfortable. However, upon checking in, we noticed mold in our AC unit. As soon as it turned on overnight, we woke up coughing. We ended up checking out the next morning and getting another hotel room. I reached out to the host by email and phone three times about a partial refund. I am still waiting to hear back."

"We did not stay at Uncle Billys hotel. It was closed but we were booked at a hotel 7 miles away "

"Convenient to everything on the west side of Big island. Beaches, marina, historical sites, parks and KOA airport were nearby along with restaurants and grocery stores. We used the Weber grill one night, saw an end to end rainbow, an owl, sunsets are fabulous. The pool was getting renovated but we utilized the close beaches with great snorkeling. Everything was provided at this condo with a washer and dryer, dishwasher and a wonderful “lanai” aka balcony looking out into the ocean with palm...

"Did not know there was no laundry facilities, no outside space , no oven. 5 hour timer on the ac system kept the place hot. Tv worked half the time. Your feet got dirty if you walked barefoot on the tile floor. No place to sit except rickety high top chairs. Having to be out by 10 am is inconvenient."

"UNIT WAS GREAT. NO ISSUES, VERY HAPPY WITH IT"
