"The hotel itself was great but don’t be fooled by how close it seems to NYC. The tunnel leading into NYC is always full of traffic and makes a trip into NYC a nearly hour trip one way. It’s also a 15 min walk to get food nearby or really expensive Uber meal. We made it work and the hotel itself was amazing though!"

"The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The mattress was firm which is what I like. The breakfast was okay. I like that the parking was free which is not true for most of Manhattan or even Queens hotels. The location is not that great, though. It's in a busy, dusty industrial area. Dining, entertainment and even grocery shopping are not within walking distance. If you have a car, though, that should not be a problem. "

"The construction makes this hotel so not cute. I imagine it was a great spot before this started but it’s far from inviting at the entrance and only until you get off the elevator is it truly what you see in the photos, covered by plastic. Nothing bad, and the construction was only during the week and thankfully I stayed Saturday night, BUT the notice of construction is only sent to you after booking. "

"Overall a good stay. First night was a bit uncomfortable as didn't have air conditioning in the room however the next morning it was fixed and after that a pleasant stay. Staff on the whole are kind, curteous and the free breakfast 6 days a week is a great help. Rooms are fairly basic but for a cheap stay in NYC it's perfect!
