"Hotel is close to 3 train lines and only 2 changes from Kyoto station. The rooms are small but this is Japan so I did not have a problem with that. It’s very well run and the rooms and facilities were well kept. Only thing would be for the housekeepers once a week to wipe down the desk and the top of the tv because it had a lot of dust on it. "

"We love this hotel!! Walkable to Sanjo shopping area, Karasuma-Oike metro station, Lawson and Fresco supermarket etc. Rooms were beautiful, quiet and clean, with a nice bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back if we visit Kyoto again!"

"Nice and handy, 10 minute walk to Kyoto station. Between Higashiyama Honganji and Nishi Honganji. Close to Karasuma Dori and Gojo Dori for buses and subway. Room was very nice and perfect for one or 2 people. Staff were very welcoming."

The location was impeccable, the staff helpful, check in and out were easy and the room itself was gorgeous. Good option for those of us who don't exactly make a lot. Sometimes, I walk past the building because the buildings are so packed together, it's noticeable enough to identify it though. It has the lettering right above the building."
