"We absolutely loved our stay at Big Bear Lodge. The sweetest couple own it and they were so accommodating. The room was thoughtfully planned out and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked great. The grounds were nicely kept. And one of the owners does the artwork for the rooms and outside. She is quite good. The location is perfect, right across the street from Thunder Bay. There are restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely stay there again when we are in...

"Breakfast Sunday AM was lacking GRAVY, Biscuits were cold rocks. Oatmeal could stand up and walk away, so thick. Eggs were a warm delight. Sausage was tasty but not worth mouthful of grease, ugh. Room cheerful, clean, with an easy operating thermostat. Soaps, shampoo, etc., easily reached. TV very simple to operate."
