"We went to Canalview for a girls trip. Check in was easy, room was spacious and beds were comfortable. The hotel staff were very pleasant anf assisted with everything. Breakfast was great, it had everything we needed for the day and the setting was gorgeous. Front desk agent was helpful. Only issue was the heating, it was a very cold weekend and we needed more heat, thefe was a sucharge. There is also a surcharge for an extra blanket and pillows, and hair dryer"

"We didn’t get the email to check in and showed up at 2:30 pm being told we couldn’t until 4. The first night there was some very loud techno beat until 4 amThe second night there was 9:40- midnight the heat wasn’t working and we were told that 68 should be warm enough. We asked for a blanket which we got but he didn’t seem happy. There was no one at the receptionist desk ever."

"An absolutely excellent boutique hotel, simply but stylishly furnished, funky modern "bla blah" theme, friendly staff, good breakfast, fine quiet room, great bathroom/shower, well located in the old centre city. I would definitely stay here again!"

"On first impressions the property seemed ok but on further inspection it was dirty and strange in the way it was managed. We would not return to this property as security is a big issue. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kasteel Ryckevelde. The property is at the end of a lovely (albeit bumpy) forest path and the castle's interior is majestic-feeling. Our room was well-equipped, with all the essentials for cooking our meals. The patio restaurant was also a great place to relax. Our only criticism is that the room, especially the windows, could have been more thoroughly cleaned. Hope to return!"
