"Next to the property there is an abandoned building and people where braking windows at night. The smell of carpet in halls is disgusting but the room is ok and clean. Ok to spend the night. "

"Location is a double-edged sword. Having a balcony overlooking the grote markt/stadhuis is only nice during the day. Sleeping with all the noise was difficult but overall still possible. The rooms appear to have not been renovated in a while and the hallways were quite dirty. A huge plus is the food, as the restaurant is much better and has many options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner"

"The property was located in the centre of all the restaurants and just a few minutes walk from the caves for the Christmas market which was a convenient location. The Hotel itself had a large restaurant. There is no lift and a very steep staircase to the rooms. Our room had a faulty lock so each time we tried to go out it took several minutes for the lock to catch. We did advise a member of staff but they did not do anything about it. The Television did not work and although a member of staff...

"I don’t recommend this place at all! 3 star is for the River view. Had I known this is actually a youth hostel with some “comfort room” I wouldn’t have booked it at this price for my vacation. River view is not but we had to live with youngsters racing in hallway with big noises at 10:40pm every night! When we arrived on the rainy afternoon at about 2:30, the young guy at front desk didn’t check at all and didn’t dare to look at our eyes and told us check in has to be at 3pm! At 3 pm we were...

"The hotel is a few hundred meters from Maastricht station. All the amenities are on your door step. The staff are very helpfull and courtious. I planted a tree in line with the hotels eco-friendliness. I will use again."
