"Visiting with family for both business and social. Enjoyed the room size and amenities. However corridors and staircase are dirty and unswept/vaccum. Generally hotel could do well to clean common areas Else ok"

"We were only at the hotel for sleeping, as we had plans in the city during the day. The accommodations were nice. WiFi worked for all our devices. They didn’t have a pool, but day passes to the hotel next door were available. The morning breakfast had variety every day and was pretty good for a small free hotel breakfast. The room was in good shape and the shuttle to the airport made travel easy. Shuttles run every 30 minutes or so, and the airport has direct access to the metro and buses....

"The room was excellent. The TV channel choices are scarce. Breakfast is cereal, waffle or pastry/bread product. The ice machine doesn't work."

"An unplanned stay turned into a pleasant surprise. Inns of Virginia was very hospital and the front desk attendant was so nice. There are restaurants close by and my room was so clean and comfortable providing the night sleep that I needed and a good coffee before I left. "

"This motel is a great value for the pricey area of its location. The room was quiet and clean, but ventilation was poor and the floor felt damp, particularly after our showers. No amenities (shampoo, facial tissue) were provided, and coffee was available only in the lobby. The beds were comfortable, but housekeeping came only once in the 4 days we stayed. There was lingering smell of tobacco smoke in the hallways."

"The hotel was nice for the most part. The breakfast was a nice value. The pool was very cold. Some of the pillow cases and bedspreads had old stains, but for the most part, things were clean. Staff was very nice. "

"A clean and comfortable room 7 minutes drive from the Capitol. 5 min walk to the train, free parking on site so you can ditch the car. Neighborhood very walkable and safe, lots of great restaurants. We'll be back!"

"The motel is located very close to the Van Dorn Metro station, so very convenient when it came to going to the city. The room was very clean and looked well maintained. The staff were very professional and quick with both check-in, and check-out, and the housekeeping was doing great in keeping the grounds looking clean. Will be returning here for our next DC trip, as we were very pleased. "
