"Absolutely enjoyed my stay here. The room was so comfortable and everyone was so respectful of being quiet. The front desk staff were also very friendly. I only wish I had brought a swimsuit so I could have enjoyed the spa, but did not think of it. It is also very conveniently located by the train station. I would absolutely stay here again. "

"Such a friendly place. The guy who checked us in was welcoming, humorous and efficient. He worked so hard, I hope the company realise how great an asset he is. He manned reception, served our meal, ran the bar (thanks for the Negroni) and was there doing it all again at breakfast. "Location is a double-edged sword. Having a balcony overlooking the grote markt/stadhuis is only nice during the day. Sleeping with all the noise was difficult but overall still possible. The rooms appear to have not been renovated in a while and the hallways were quite dirty. A huge plus is the food, as the restaurant is much better and has many options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner"

"I don’t recommend this place at all! 3 star is for the River view. Had I known this is actually a youth hostel with some “comfort room” I wouldn’t have booked it at this price for my vacation. River view is not but we had to live with youngsters racing in hallway with big noises at 10:40pm every night! When we arrived on the rainy afternoon at about 2:30, the young guy at front desk didn’t check at all and didn’t dare to look at our eyes and told us check in has to be at 3pm! At 3 pm we were...
