"Arrived Monday afternoon, member of staff said the chef had done a runner, on the Tuesday another member of staff said the chef had a day off, on the Wednesday another member of staff said the chef had taken an extra day off and offered us tea and coffee and cornflakes foc. The bar closed at 5 so if you wanted an evening meal you had to order early, that is if the chef was in. Sorry i cant give this hotel a rating, and the shower was hopless."

"Attractively restored pub with very comfortable rooms and good food. The staff couldn't be more helpful - we particularly appreciated the fan left on to cool the room ready for our arrival. Lovely walk from the front door to the old docks on the bay a short distance away."

"We really enjoyed our stay although we didn't meet the owners we spoke to them on the phone and they were very friendly and welcoming we could not get the channels on the tv to work but that was probably us. We would stay again if we were up in Preston."
