"The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. They lost a star because the “city view” we paid extra for consisted of the back wall of the hotel behind us. There were some minor service issues that were forgivable. Our room was extremely small with just enough room to walk around the bed and very little storage. There was no dresser, just a wall unit with a few shelves and room to hang a few items. The room was also oddly situated behind a door with an entrance to another room. ...

"This hotel clicked all the right boxes and the price was good. A little challenging signage due to street layout and poor signage. The best amenity was a nearby easy walking distance Mexican Restaurant with an interesting bar and good restaurant. Give it a try."

"Had to wait at the airport for a shuttle to hotel almost an hour! Finally had another hotel shuttle Crown hotel take pity on me and take me there! No coffee pot etc available in room either! No complimentary shampoo in room either "

"Great location, close to Times Square, multiple transit options, and plenty of restaurants, cafes and theaters. Located off the main streets, so much quieter than I expected. The fully stocked kitchenette came in handy to enjoy leftovers. "

"We only stayed here one night as we were traveling across the east coast on a history tour. Without GPS the roads around it would have been challenging to navigate to and from but over all it worked out. The lady at the counter was really nice, we got there late and a few of her staff left early so she was juggling a few different things but she was very accommodating and kind regardless. The hotel was clean and food was good"

"I appreciate the location of the Chelsea Savoy near a Whole Foods Market and close to subway stations. I also enjoyed having a small fridge in my room during hot days in NYC. The one downside is the uncomfortable bed and pillows. I did not sleep well because the bed felt like a brick. "

"The lift situation is not great! Get down for breakfast before 9am to get down and back up in the lift! The overall smell in room is a damp smell or dog odour but room has everything you need for a city stay!"
