"Great place to stay on Rough River! The house was clean, with plenty of room for our family to spread out, sit on the sectional and talk, sit at the table to play games, or sit out in the screened in porch to eat and enjoy the view. We had beautiful weather to enjoy the beach area just a short 2 min walk away. My mother-in-law did have a bit of a hard time with the walk to the lake. There's a path, it is a little steep. Just something to keep in mind if you have anyone with mobility...

"I booked at this property thinking it was the Lodge at the state park, It is deceiving since they have very similar names. Upon arrival my key was in the door to my room and the clerk who checked me in was pleasant enough but i am assuming he lives on the property and you could see his living quarters, dog ( I think a pit bull in tow). Room was small, old and dirty. There were hairs in the bed and one small bug, like a gnat. I killed one more on the nightstand. There was a musty smell to...
