"Nice rooms. Bathroom too small for me unfortunately. Pub looks a bit tired and could do with a makeover. Steps to rooms are metal fire escape outside at the back but treads not deep enough so be careful walking down them. Good atmosphere."

"We loved our stay here! Clean and had a great sleep. Brilliant price for somewhere to stay close to York. Carpark was a little full and some bad parking meant it was a space down, but not the owners fault. Highly recommend for an affordable cute little getaway! Would definitely return"

Despite being very cold the little Tree house was so so cozy and remained cosy all night long after the fire had burnt out. " The host was pleasant and made us welcome on arrival but the condition and the cleanliness of the property decoration, the carpets and our bathroom in general was so poor that we decided not to stay and left the property. We think the 9/10 and the 10/10 reviews of the hotel are very misleading and we should have looked more carefully before booking. We hope the management improves the property and does well in the future however we would not go back to the hotel."

"Greeted by a pleasant stain member. Flat was clean. Secure parking is a plus. Things could be improved if they had the following, welcome pack giving WiFi details etc, better equipped kitchen I.e tea towel, bin and more crockery, bathroom could do with bath mat and bedroom could do with bedside cabinet with bedside lamp "

"The property was clean comfortable and in a convenient location for my needs. I was hoping to use the kitchen more, however although it was well equipped there wasn't any cutlery, glasses mugs or washing up equipment. Perhaps this could be highlighted in the accomodation details. "
