"Arriving at 3.30 we had to fight our way to the bar of this Irish club to check in (it happened to be St. Patrick's Day !) The barmaid did come and show us our room however, a triple with 3 single beds. It was very cold and the radiator stayed stone cold until at least 7 p.m. and was cold in the morning when we were getting up. The room was very basic and there was no waste paper bin. The TV didn't work - the aerial wire was just hanging loose - and there were 2 wide steps down from the door to...

Chishill windmill is a post mill in South Cambridgeshire. It was built in 1819, using timbers from an earlier mill of 1726, and it was last worked in 1951. Restoration was carried out in 1966 and it is now open to the public from 1st April to 31st October.
