"This is an awesome place to stop for a vacation very close to the beach (2 minutes by car or 15 minutes jogging). The kitchen has plenty of pots and utensils, a gas stove and a fridge. You may also make new friends cause there might be other people renting other rooms. There are many restaurants around and a superstore. We'll stop there again on our next trip to Portugal. "

"Very compact, minimal apartment in a lovely location. Let's start with the good. The Alfama neighbourhood is wonderous and I loved walking around it after dark, although I don't know how anyone managed it before google maps! There's a convenience store and a laundry very close by, as well as restaurants, and the city centre is perfectly walkable if you don't mind a bit of a trek. The location is ideal in terms of access, but extremely noisy foremost because of the oft-mentioned bus depot, and also a school right underneath during the day. Note that this is a residential building and the entrance is not obvious. Look for it as the street bends by the street number. The facility has a common kitchen, but no refrigerator.
