"We always like to stay at the Blue Gate Inn. The rooms are decorated in country style and roomy. The breakfast is the clincher!!! Personal omelette made to order and abundance of other hot foods. Don’t need to eat again until dinner. If I had to say anything that needs to be approved is the toilet paper!! For as much as we pay I think they can have thicker paper! "

"Didn't take pictures, but the whole stay was nice. My only concerns was toilet needs a new wax ring, as it makes noise and tips slightly when you sit or get up. The water kept changing from hot to cold and cold to hot. It can get extremely hot. That's my only complaints. The beds and pillows were wonderful. I need that type at home. Breakfast was decent too. I'll definitely be back. "

"The facility was clean, comfortable and relaxing. The area was quiet but a little remote. We had to travel a few miles into Michigan to find places to eat. Breakfast quality and quantity was good. We especially appreciate real brewed coffee, unlike the coffee sludge machines to which many other hotel chains have switched."

"I was impressed with the staff helpfulness. I’m older and needed some assistance managing things. The room was spacious and everything was clean. Bed was comfortable. Varied breakfast selection with “real” cutlery and coffee mugs, plates, etc. I would definitely stay there again."

"We enjoyed our stay here. The best part was that we had just a short walk over to Blue Gate Theatre. We would book again for this very reason. There was also a hot breakfast in the morning along with cereals, fruit and yogurt."

"When we first arrived the young lady informed us that the room we booked was not available but she would bump us up to another room at no additional cost. Very disappointed to come home and see that instead was charged more then stated. Very upsetting especially since had stayed there before & never had that happen. "
