"This hotel is excellent considering it is 2 stars. Our A/C River Facing room was as good as most 3.5 star hotels if not better. The staff are polite and knowledgeable. The only downside was the restaurant- which is shut (Oct ‘26). The kitchen is functional so room service is possible, limited, but ok. Just as well as local cafes are only just adequate….This is as of October 2026. It’s quite possibly the best hotel that is within walking distance to the ghat (river front where rivers Bhaigirathi and Alakhnanda meet to for the Ganga)."
