"Staff is always kind and welcoming my family has stayed here many many times when visiting san diego we go to sea world and its sooo close to everything its a 5min drive to food and shopping its right next to the freeway and a stones throw away from the water the pool is fun for the kids too and yes airplanes go over head because it is next to san diego airport but it doesnt even keep us up at night and its fun for my son to watch the planes go by its also dog friendly and our little yorkie...

As with nearly any city, there are areas in downtown where the houseless population can be a bit intimidating. Our host, Carlos, gave us a map with directions to area attractions as well as some advice on areas to avoid.
