"Awesome owner couple who are ever so helpful. Ko San gives you a ride and picks you up to onsen, dinner, ski place etc. They also give you ticket access to Onsen nearby so you dont have to pay for entry fee."

"The room was spacious, but going up and down from the bunk bed was inconvenient. It would be better if the big table was taken away and replaced it w/ twin beds. The big table could be dangerous as someone can get injured by the pointed edges. Also, the bathroom was rather small and its floor was noisy when you step on it."

"The place was beautiful, the pictures just don't even seem like the right place. The rooms were next to a stream and walking in you feel like you're going back in time, walking over covered bridges and rustic tatami-matted floors. The grounds were just as charming and the onsens were our favorite in Japan (and we like going to onsens all over Japan). "The guy that checks you in (if your female) will not talk to you. I asked him a question and he looked to my husband to answer the question. He was extremely rude and very sexist. The building has a lot of potential, however it is not in very good condition due to lack of upkeep.
