Our room was small but we had booked the cheaper option and it was only for one night, so it was perfect for us.

"A great value and clean hotel for a quick stopover right in the middle of town. The self check in was easy and clear comms from the staff by email. Great to have a Nespresso machine in the room and a communal lounge with fridge etc too. 5 mins walk from Altstätten Stadt station on the lovely mountain railway to Appenzell and beyond. 20 mins walk or quick bus to Altstätten SG mainline station so easy to get around without a car. "Das Zimmer war leider nicht sehr sauber, wenn auch sauberer als der Zugang zu diesem. Der Aufzug und der Rest vom Treppenhaus waren SEHR verschmutzt. Wir waren im Dachgeschoss und es war sehr warm. Leider gab es nichtmal einen Ventilator. Wenn man mit offenen Fenstern schlafen muss, ist es durch den Verkehr SEHR laut.. Für eine Nacht war es okay, mit Kindern würde ich lieber eine Alternative suchen."
"Great location right on the Bodensee. It’s very simple but clean and comfortable. I happened to get a room with a lake view which was amazing. There isn’t dedicated parking but there is a parking lot right by the hotel with free parking from 22:00 - 07:00."
"The stay was beautiful with amazing views. The hotel was clean and all amenities were working properly. One thing that took us by surprise was the hotel staff expecting us to clean and leave the hotel in a mopped condition. I’m not sure if this is consistent throughout Switzerland or just property, but we were definitely taken back by this. Despite this, I would return."
"Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und der Check-In verlief reibungslos. Es war fantastisch, einen Code zu bekommen. Mir hat sehr gefallen, dass das Hotel einen Fahrrad-/Skiraum hatte. Es gibt Geschäfte überall in der Gegend. Unser Zimmer hatte einen schönen Blick auf die Berge. Sehr zentral zu Bludenz und zum Bahnhof."
