Breakfast and the kitchen/cleaning staff were exceptional. The room is compact but had everything we needed. The beds were a little hard- but the price was great!"

I will say the cups they provide for the tea disintegrate before you can finish your hot beverage so they might want to get some different cups or bring your own. The beds were ok in terms of comfort. "

"DONT BOOK, this place is NOT a hotel nor a bed and breakfast. Not even the taxi driver knew of it existence. No front desk no one to greet you. This is basically an apartment on a regular building and what they did they divided the rooms inside into “private rooms”y mother is handicap and I specially asked about an elevator and they said yes there’s one, what they did not disclosed was that the elevator does NOT stop on their floor and there’s two set of stairs to go up each of 15-20 steps. ...

Judith stocked it with water and delicious snacks, which we so appreciated. I highly recommend Il Veliero to anyone going to Levanto/Cinque Terre!!"

"Bonne petite petite auberge en general, dommage que le matelas était très très dur et que certains aliments au petit-déjeuner étaient périmés : les buscuits et les biscottes, passe encore, mais le beurre... périmé depuis le 11 janvier on était le 4 mars et lorsqu'on l'a fait remarquer, la personne n'a rien dit, même pas une excuse. Bref, Sarzana est une magnifique petite ville et l'auberge est tres bien placée et a le mérite d'avoir un parking."

"A quick walk from the train station. You can take the stairs down to the street the property is on if you don't have much luggage. The owner's son communicated with us via WhatsApp and provided instructions for a contactless check-in. Seemed really nice and was super quick to respond to questions as well. You get access to a unit that has about 4 or 5 other rooms, and while it's really easy to hear any noise from the hallway, we didn't hear anything from neighbouring rooms through the walls....
