"The staff were very helpful however the room smelled really really damp. They had opened the windows to try and get rid of the smell but it smelled terrible all night"
"A very comfortable country pub, with great food, top chef and well kept beer. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
My room was a tad small and basic but the bathroom was modern and hey this is a 16th century building and I enjoyed my stay."
"Family room booked for three adults. Arrived to find two single beds. Booking confirmation states someone would be there to greet us. No-one was around. Fortunately we got through to somebody by phone and were able to get into the room but they were not able to provide us anywhere to stay for the three adults we had booked and paid for.
The floor, bedding and toilet were clean. However, the windows were covered in cobwebs, the chairs were stained, there were not enough cups for all three of us,...
"in Harlow town park.BUT
Needs major upgrade. It isn't a hotel it's a grubby hostel with a nasty toilet and shower separate from the room. The stained shower looks like a refugee from the 1960s
It's a very sad place to be.
The mattress was terrible, extremely uncomfortable so I didn't get much sleep due to the pain generated by laying on it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS"
"The host made the check in easy and was responsive to all our questions and issues. The apartment, facilities and utensils were spotless and in great condition. For a stay in Chelmsford, the location is an easy walk or drive to any and all destinations."
"I arrived could not find the accommodation, went on line and discovered that the accommodation was permanently closed.
I had to pay for alternate accommodation and have not had any contact from Expedia "
"The bed in the room was like a concrete slab and we only had towels for 1 no slip mat for the bath and shower and the floor of the bathroom was like a skate in ring."
