"The “hotel” was actually a motel and was under renovation, so there was no free breakfast. The pool was green, and we were unable to use it. The ice machine ran out of ice, there were no blankets in the room, and the “bedspread,” which was basically just a sheet, stunk. The whole room felt damp and sticky, and the carpet was disgusting. The outside lights were so bright that they shined into the bedroom all night."
