"The breakfast was mediocre. There is a bar and grill on the property that has great food, and they had free live entertainment both nights we stayed there."
"There was only one person handling the front desk, she was was on a long phone call helping with a reservation when I arrived. This had me and the others in line waiting quite a bit to be checked in. Lots of staff was around and walking behind the desk but no one else jumped in to help with customers. The pool area was nice, the room was older and smelled like smoke but was today and breakfast needed more options. The hotel did the job for a 1 night stay but it wasn’t anything to write home...
"Shared parling with restaurant next door made it nearly impossible to find parking after 7pm. The room had some sort of odor to it, but it wasn't air freshener (musty). Shampoo in the shower was empty, still on the wall, but empty. The so-called breakfast was a joke. Stale bagels, waffles, but no syrup. There was coffee, but nothing else. "I have never been so misled like the Canfield Hotel. There were street people laying around the corner. There was a man with two black eyes, cut across his cheek, filthy dirty smoking a cigarette right outside the door. I didn't even want to touch door handle it was so dirty.
