"This is a cute, newly renovated house in a great location near new river gorge National park with lots of amenities. We loved the hot tub and the game room in the basement. The house could have been cleaner, we had a few cleanliness issues including finding dirty dishes in the cabinet. "

Also, because of the drought, the water levels were low but host provide 6 gallons of drinking water. Con: Directions to the property were not helpful and we had to call VRBO twice while driving around for an hour to figure out where to go. "My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here during spring break. Everything was clean and in great condition, and the host clearly went the extra mile to provide finishing touches. The towels were extra large and plush, the coffee area had multiple options, there were extra condiments in the fridge, and each bedroom has its own tv (the kids were thrilled about this!). "Peaceful quiet area. Camper was comfortable. The host was fantastic and very responsive. All amenities were provided and spot on as listed. If youre a camper and enjoy the outdoors without hauling your own camper this is an excellent getaway.Explored the areas State Parks (Babcock SP, Hawks Nest SP, New River Gorge- did the Bridge walk, Rail Bikes in Elk River a must do, for all ages)Great place to explore. "The property was great and in a nice location but the first morning there was no water. Once reported there was a lack of response. Was told a maintenance man was coming to repair but would be bringing paper dining products and water. There was no identification of the name of the person coming to rural isolated location. That night maintenance showed up at 9:20pm and could not identify the hosts name. No water was restored. We left the following morning because he host supplying paper products...
