It was extremely hot in the room, difficult to get comfortable and sleep. Uncomfortable beds. No option to open window. Too bright and only light curtains. Loud people next door late night and early morning. Didn’t even use the showers. We do not mind basic or not so fancy accommodation but I would not stay here again nor...

"Pro: guests cleaned up after themselves all the spaces were clean. Shoes off at the door you have to switch into indoor slippers. Very well equipped shared kitchen. Didn't have to wait long to use bathrooms/showers since there were multiple. Convenient location to shops and restaurants. Con: way too noisy. Even though we had our own room it felt like a true hostel. Might as well pay more if you're looking for good rest. The heavy doors will slam shut every few minutes and it's not soundproof....

"Guesthouse in a rather remote location, nearest town seems to be Egilsstaðir and that's a half-hour drive away. Self check-in, you are given a code to access your room key. Breakfast is included. Staff kindly ask guests to not wear shoes in the house. Rooms are rather cramped, but clean, beds were comfy and curtains were blackout. Ambiance is somewhat lacking, the view is okay from the outside but there was construction right next to the house. Okay stop for the Ring Road for one night but...

"We stayed in the farmhouse and found it clean and comfortable. The instructions to check in are a little confusing- you have to check in at a hotel up the road (that also isn’t well marked) that give you a code and map for this place. The shared kitchen and living room is comfortable but not big if the guesthouse is full. We also couldn’t open the windows for air due to bugs - something we didn’t experience anywhere else. All self service for cooking or eating your own meals as no staff around."

"One of the most beautiful drive to this property located at remote location! Even though it’s gravel road, if you enjoy driving, you’d appreciate the beauty of the nature during entire drive. Other guests spotted whales and dolphins right at front side of property. I and my wife enjoyed our stay. I’d go there again just to enjoy the drive and have a cup of coffee in morning sitting at bench in front of the property hoping to spot whales!"
