"Ich war in Chiang Rai und wollte ein Hotel nähe Stadtmitte. Das Hotel wurde mir mit 400m zur Stadtmitte angezeigt. Ich buchte und verstand erst später dass mir ein Hotel in Chan Saen angedreht wurde, das kein Stadtteil von Chiang Rai ist sondern 40km entfernt liegt. Eine sofortige Stornierung habe ich nicht gefunden. Es war das letzte Mal, dass ich EXPEDIA benutzt habe. Geld in den Sand gesetzt. Reinlege"

Der Komfort entspricht vielleicht nicht den üblichen 5 Sternen, aber dennoch sollte man diese Art der Übernachtung mal gemacht haben. "Amazing property! Located right on the Mekong River with a river view, the location could not be beat! It was obvious the hotel was barely booked (low season) and we asked for an upgrade, room with a river view. Ours looked out on another cottage and they said yes for an extra charge.
