"Awful. Had homeless on the entry steps. Police in reception dealing with something.
Delapidated. And needs money to at least fix cracks in wall and paint it. Needs a good clean the stairs had years of dust on them.
Looks like a hotel that the owners have just forgotten about."
"If you are booking the Pods ensure you arrive before the park closes as there are no staff on site, the entrance to the hotel is closed the security guided us to pods alter we were unable to gain access as we didn’t have keys.
Avoid staying here there is no staff, no phone number no one to help."
"The room was very dirty and dusty with stains on the bedsheets. There was no instructions to bring your own towels online and then no information sheets in the rooms. I rung the number for help and she was very condescending saying that there was an information sheet in my room that would “answer all my questions” despite her supposedly being there if we needed any help and there was infact NO information sheet in our room. The shower drain was also leaking so we had to use our towels to soak it...
"Feel like the pictures and description did not meet expectations or match the property. This property is more of a bedsit with shared kitchen and living area. The room is big enough for a double bed and enough room to walk round it. The bathroom was ok, unfortunately the shower head was leaking and the power in the shower fluctuates, possibly when another person runs water in the property. We only got one bath towel for an adult and child, not even a hand towel. Not sure where the city view was...
"The room was spacious, and provides was a complimentary breakfast and beverages to drink.
The ensuite is a nice large size.
Car parking can be a bit of a squeeze if there are guests with cars staying in all of the flats.
There was good friendly communication with the owner most of the time.
The WiFi was working, but for some reason not the smart TV. Maybe a previous guest messed it up.
The house is on a good bus route, with a stop across the road and regular buses into Derby city...
"it’s okay. my room was now hoovered at all, dirty floor, checked bed for bed buds and it was safe to sleep. the heater was cold majority of night and only when i woke up after 7am i noticed it actually worked, didnt think it did. if the cleanliness of the place was better it would be a better review but staff is very helpful. cant go wrong for £40 per night."
"I go away with work most weeks and this has to be up there with one of the best places I have stayed in. Would love to come back in the summer. I’ve now booked up for my third successive week. The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay."
"It was ok but what I did not really like is that after booking, they took me to some where else. It was comfortable and nice. Also central area. Wasn't really a bad idea to stay there in the end. The people I met there were nice people "
